SustaiNet Software Solutions Inc. was formed in early 2004 as a software distributor

Our primary focus was to provide a range of software solutions to more efficiently manage the vast amount of distributed environmental data and community engagement data needed to report on.

Market Focus
More recently, SustaiNet has focussed exclusively on the complex stakeholder consultation, public participation and community engagement markets.

We now provide appropriate software tools that have proved to be efficient in managing and tracking the input, communications, discussions, issues, concerns and interests of concerned stakeholders and citizens.

Key Staff

Howard Adam is the founder and President of SustaiNet Software Solutions Inc., with over 20 years in international business development, marketing and sales. This includes over 10 years experience in marketing desktop and enterprise level software systems globally, focusing on environmental information management software and stakeholder information management software. Prior to founding SustaiNet, Howard was the President of GemTeck Environmental Software Ltd, and during the 80’s, Howard was a practicing Professional Engineer (Civil) designing and constructing large water conveying an retaining structures, including earth/rollcrete dams. He was also divisional manager of a liquid/solid separation company, supplying large mechanical dewatering and composting plant into local government and industrial sectors. Howard has B.Sc. (Engineering), B.Comm (Business Management) and MBA degrees, a diploma in International Trade and a certificate in Public Participation (IAP2).

Colin Ellis is the Manager of our Stakeholder Relationship Management software and oversees sales, business development, customer implementation and training programs, as well as the product support. Colin joined SustaiNet in 2005 and has 10 years of experience in the international business arena with a focus on enterprise level software database technologies. Prior to joining SustaiNet, Colin held the position of Enterprise Software Specialist with Fuji Xerox Australia and Xerox Canada. Colin is an active member of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) and was awarded his Public Participation Certificate from this group in March 2006. Since this time Colin has participated in various workshops and seminars to showcase his involvement and experience with multicultural community engagement as well as stakeholder relationship management technologies. Colin holds a B. Sc in International Marketing from the University of Alabama and is bilingual (English/French).
