StakeTracker® Security Statement

Secure Communications
When you use our StakeTracker® web application, data is encrypted as it travels to and from our Customer’s PC’s and our Hosting Provider’s servers. Encryption is accomplished through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the de facto standard for data encryption on the Internet. This means your sensitive information cannot be deciphered by unauthorized individuals.

Secure Database
Your data is stored in a protected, secure database server, isolated from the Internet by a powerful firewall, where it can never be directly accessed or downloaded by anyone on the Internet. Only one very specific application, the StakeTracker® web application, has physical access to the database server, because it is located within this firewall.

Secure Password
A good policy for passwords is that they should be 6 or more characters, they should not be found in the dictionary, and they should contain both alphabetic and numeric characters. If users adhere to this policy, the chance of randomly guessing a password is less than one in 1,000,000,000,000 (That’s 1,000 billion!).
